Dragons!

It seems that dragons are popping up everywhere these days!  There are so many games now that have fierce and threatening dragons as the bad guys.  But I have found many adorable dragon patterns to crochet as well.

These are my favorite by far to make!  I love making them from cheneille or velvet yarn.  The stitches are a little hard to see until you get used to working with it, but the texture of the finished dragon is so soft and cuddly!

These dragons are the perfect size to sit on your shoulder to ride along where ever you go!  I would say these guys are juvenile dragons, about the equivalent of a teenager.  

The pattern comes from one of my favorite designers, Hooked by Kati.!

She has a wonderful collection of unique patterns and I have tried several of them and found them to be very doable!   She also offers a wealth of information about new techniques and how to become a crochet designer yourself!
