Crocodile Stitch Fingerless Gloves......

Here's a perfect gift idea for the ladies on your Christmas list this year!   Fingerless gloves or wrist warmers as they are sometimes called are cute, warm and cozy and leave the fingers free for driving, texting ( not while driving please.) or doing little tasks like crochet or what have you, that requires fine motor skills.



I purchased this pattern from http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/crocodile-stitch-fingerless-gloves-2.  It is a great pattern that works up easily.  I tweaked it a little in the length of the gloves to make them a little longer. (My sister wanted elbow length) but done up just as the pattern directs makes a perfect size to the wrist.

Once you learn this awesome stitch there is no end to the beautiful things you can create, from house slippers to mermaid tails to dragon blankets!  So treat yourself to a new stitch this week and add a whole new dimension to your crochet artwork!
